Since DJI began building drones for agriculture in 2012, the company’s goals have been rooted in a mission to help farmers save water and improve their yields. From the first Agras drone launched in 2015 to the current Agras T50, more than 400,000 agriculture drones have been used to treat more than 300 types of crops in more than 100 countries and regions.

As the industry continues to mature, a new opportunity for economic growth and job creation has emerged. Today, there are more than 400,000 spray drone operators globally, and an even greater network of partners has emerged to train, service, and sell products to these operators. In the United States, DJI’s network of partners grew 200% from 2023 to 2024, representing thousands of newly created jobs in the spray drone ecosystem.
