FAQ
- Propulsion System
- What is the propeller rotation direction of the DJI Agras T55?

- Are the propellers of the DJI Agras T55 compatible with those of the T70P?Yes. The DJI Agras T55 uses the same carbon fiber propellers as the T70P, model 6223.
- Safety System
- What precautions should be taken when using the safety system?1. Dirt or obstructions on the surface of the Millimeter-Wave Radar may affect radar detection performance. Before operation, make sure the radar surface is clean and free of metal stickers.
2. The sensing distance may vary depending on ambient light, rain, fog, and the material, position, and shape of the target object.
3. If the vision sensors are dirty or during nighttime operations, the aircraft will rely solely on radar for Terrain Following and obstacle bypassing. The performance of Terrain Following and obstacle bypassing may be reduced. Fly with caution. - Which directions are covered by the night navigation lights on the DJI Agras T55, and what are they used for?The T55 comes standard with high beam lights, low beam lights, and downward lighting. The high beam lights help indicate the aircraft’s position to nearby personnel. The low beam lights provide medium-range environmental illumination. The downward lighting illuminates the area below the aircraft, helping pilots observe the surrounding environment during landing. Together, the three lighting modes provide all-around visibility and enhanced safety.
- Aircraft Structure
- What upgrades have been made to the arm locks of the DJI Agras T55 compared with the previous generation?1. The arms use new auto-locking latches. Once the arms are unfolded, the latches lock automatically, making operation easier while ensuring structural reliability.
2. The aircraft uses Tri-Vision imagery to detect whether the arms are in position, helping pilots double-check the arm locking status on the remote controller for enhanced flight safety.
3. The reverse-rotation quad-axis rotor design naturally generates force in the direction of arm deployment after takeoff, helping keep the arms securely in place. - What optimizations have been made to the DJI Agras T55 for easier transport? The DJI Agras T55 features a further lightweight airframe design and two additional carrying handles on the frame. With these handles, one pilot can easily load or unload the T55 from a vehicle.
- Spraying System
- What is the difference between the Multi-Atomization Centrifugal Sprinklers and the Mist Sprinklers on the DJI Agras T55?1. The Multi-Atomization Centrifugal Sprinklers are mainly designed for field crop protection scenarios. They deliver a droplet size of 50–500 μm and a maximum flow rate of 40 L/min with two sprinklers.
2. The Mist Sprinklers are mainly designed for orchard operations. They deliver a droplet size of 50–500 μm and feature a rear four-sprinkler layout, with a maximum flow rate of up to 50 L/min to meet the demands of high-volume spraying scenarios. - Spreading System
- Can the spreading system discharge materials normally after the spreader disc is removed?Yes. It can discharge materials normally.
- How compatible is the spreading system? The T55 spreader is different from those of the T100, T70P, and T25P, and is not compatible with them. The T55 screw feeders are compatible with the T70P and T100.
- Lifting System
- How does the length of the lifting cable affect the aircraft?Users should select a lifting cable length within the recommended range of 10–15 m. If the cable is too short, cargo swing may increase and the cargo may strike the propellers. If the cable is too long, the cargo may touch the ground, or the cable may become entangled with trees or power lines on the ground, causing accidents.
- What precautions should be taken when using the lifting system?1. Do not fly with an overloaded payload. It is recommended to fly within the recommended payload range so the aircraft can better handle overload conditions such as cargo swing and climbing. Overloading may cause severe aircraft vibration, Balance Control failure, or other safety risks, and may even lead to loss of control and crashing.
2. It is not recommended to lift cargo with a large wind-facing surface. Such cargo is more likely to be affected by natural wind and may swing significantly, affecting flight safety. - Remote Controller
- Is the remote controller of the DJI Agras T55 compatible with the T100 and T70P?Yes. It is compatible.
- Is the RTK high-precision positioning module included as a standard accessory with the DJI RC Plus 2 remote controller? No. It is not included as a standard accessory.
- Is the external battery of the DJI RC Plus 2 remote controller a standard accessory or an optional accessory? It is an optional accessory.
- Power System
- Can the D8000iE Multifunctional Inverter Generator be connected to mains power? No. A separate charger is required.
- What are the highlights of the power system of the DJI Agras T55?1. The T55 uses the new DB1050 Intelligent Flight Battery, with a capacity of 20 Ah and a weight of only 8.3 kg, making it well suited for field operations.
2. When paired with the newly upgraded D8000iE Multifunctional Inverter Generator, the system delivers a maximum output power of 6.5 kW. - Which two batteries are available for the DJI Agras T55, and what are the main differences between them? Two Intelligent Flight Batteries are available for the T55: the DB1050, with a capacity of 20 Ah and a weight of 8.3 kg, and the DB1580, with a capacity of 30 Ah and a weight of 11.7 kg. The DB1050 is the standard battery. It is lighter and provides sufficient endurance for most routine operation scenarios. The DB1580 offers higher capacity and longer endurance, but also increases the aircraft’s takeoff weight. It is suitable for users who need longer single-flight duration in high-altitude areas or low-application-rate scenarios. Both batteries use high-energy-density cells to provide higher energy reserves at the same weight.
- Can new charging equipment charge batteries from older aircraft? What should users pay attention to?Compatibility should be checked. Starting from the T70P, DJI Agriculture product batteries use a columnar interface, which is different from the blade interface used on products before the T70P. The rules are as follows: when using new charging equipment to charge batteries from older aircraft, a dedicated adapter cable is required. When using older charging equipment to charge batteries for newer aircraft, an adapter cable is also required. Before purchase, be sure to confirm the existing aircraft model and charging equipment model to avoid charging failure due to interface mismatch.
- What type of generator should be used with the C7000 Intelligent Power Supply?A three-phase generator with a rated power of 10,000 W or above.
- Software Features
- What types of obstacles can the automatic obstacle planning feature of the DJI Agras T55 identify and save within a field? It can identify pole-like obstacles such as trees and utility poles. When the aircraft flies within a field, it scans and records the positions of pole-like obstacles. After landing, the pilot can save the detected obstacles to the field with one tap. The generated automatic operation route will then automatically bypass these obstacles.
